What this covers

This explains what happens to your information when you use markblack.ch — the free checks, the paid assessments, the booking system and the newsletter. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where it applies to visitors in the EU, the GDPR.

What I collect

Why

To produce and send the result you asked for, to run and confirm bookings, to take payment, to send you email you have asked to receive, and to understand which parts of the site are useful.

Who processes it

I use a small number of service providers who process data on my behalf:

Some of these are outside Switzerland, including in the United States. I do not sell your data, and I do not share your assessment results with anyone.

How long it is kept

Assessment results and booking records are kept while there is a reason to — so I can answer questions about work already done. Payment records are kept for ten years, as Swiss bookkeeping law requires. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

What is not clinical

The assessments observe patterns. They are not a diagnosis, not a medical or psychological assessment, and are not a substitute for professional care.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw consent for email at any time. Email info@markblack.ch and I will respond within 30 days. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

The site uses cookies needed to make it work, and analytics cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the site may then behave oddly.
